Private Evaluations Vs. Those Offered by Public Schools

Why Choose to Do a Private Psychological Rather Than Obtain One Through the Public Schools?

All the evaluators in this office are either retired from, or currently employed by a local public school system so we know how it works there. As a taxpayer, you are entitled to resources through the public school system at no cost to you. The choice of a private evaluation offers confidentiality protection. A diagnosis will be placed on the evaluation if the student presents with the required history, symptoms, observation, and test results to support it.
